General Information

P.E: Our days are Tuesday Morning and alternate Monday's. Please make sure your child has their kit on monday morning for the week and that your child has got the correct kit, weather depending P.E could be indoor or outdoor, Trainers will be needed for outdoor.

Please make sure your child has a water bottle in school to be able to hydrate
after exercise.

Homework and Spellings: Will be given out on a Friday and needs to be handed in the following Wednesday.

Reading: Will be given out on a Monday and needs to be completed and the log signed three times for the following Monday.

We have an open door policy on a Wednesday so please feel free to come and see us then. If this isn't convenient then please arrange an appointment.


This week's learning - 3rd December 2018

English: For English this week we will be completing some comprehension work and then moving onto our assessments.

Maths: In maths this week we will be reacping the written formal methods of addition, subtractions, multiplication and division.

Autumn Term

Our current topic is the Vikings! We will begin by looking at the Anglo Saxons and moving onto the Vikings, we will be exploring, where the Vikings came from, their lifestyle, clothing, their methods of transporation and much more. The children will have an exciting oppertunity to enhance their learning about the Vikings, we have arranged a visit into school for a full day Viking workshop for the children to enjoy.


Our Science topic this half term in electricity, we will be looking at what electricity is, how life would be without it and starting to construct some simple circuits using wires, battries and bulbs.

During Art we will be looking at Viking longships, we will be aiming to create a collage using different techniques for effect. We will be using water colours to create a back ground, texture to create the sea through a collage and drawing skills to create the longship.
