10:00am – Morning playtime (15 mins)
12:00pm – Lunchtime (45 mins)

15:00pm – School Day finishes
Start of the School Day
Children in years 3 & 4 should be brought to their unit entrance by an adult before 08:30am. We ask that parent/carers stay with their child until the bell rings. Once the bell has rung, children will form lines in accordance with their class. The children are then accompanied into the unit by their teacher.
Children in years 5 & 6 can arrive to school without an adult. Children should head straight to their unit entrance and wait for the bell to ring. Once the bell has rung, children will form lines in accordance with their class. The children are then accompanied into their unit by their teacher.
Ms Adam and other school staff will be present to welcome children and parent/carers into the school grounds every morning. Other members of staff will be located around the grounds to meet and greet pupils and parent/carers. This also applies at the end of the school day.
End of the School Day
Children in years 3 & 4 must be collected by an adult from their unit. Parent/carers should wait in the unit entrance and make themselves visible to their child’s teacher and/or ETA. Children will be allowed to leave once a teacher or ETA has seen the child’s adult. Parent/carers must inform the school office if their child is being collected by an adult who is not on the school’s list of contacts. For safeguarding reasons, school reserve the right to keep children in school if an unknown adult tries to collect a child.
Children in years 5 & 6 are allowed to walk home alone, without adult supervision, if the school have written authorisation from a parent/carer. Permission for this to happen should be emailed to the school office.
If permission is not received by the school office, for a child to walk home without adult supervision, a parent/carer should collect their child from the unit entrance at 15:00pm. Parent/carers should wait in the unit entrance and make themselves visible to their child’s teacher and/or ETA.
