"A SCHOOL UNIFORM GIVES CHILDREN A SENSE OF IDENTITY AND BELONGING"
Our change of school uniform is effective from September 2023. Children are expected to adhere to our uniform expectations at all times.
Our uniform (with logo) can be purchased from the following suppliers:
- Rawcliffes (Dewsbury)
- Smart Uniform (Dewsbury & Batley)
We encourage all families to purchase affordable school uniform. Supermarkets and other retailers offer great uniform ranges at affordable prices. You may only look to use the above suppliers to purchase our uniform items that have a logo requirement.
Jumpers and Cardigans
Jumpers and cardigans must have the school logo. Our new jumpers and cardigans can be bought from the above suppliers. This is the only item of the school uniform where the school logo is required.
The school polo top must be white. It is optional whether you decide to purchase a polo top with or without the school logo. Polos with the logo will be available to purchase from Rawcliffes and MandS (link above). Plain white polo tops without a logo can be purchased from a variety of different supermarkets, uniform shops or online.
Trousers, Skirts & Shorts
School trousers, skirts and shorts must be black. Skirts should be knee length and shorts should be smart school shorts. These can be purchased from a variety of different supermarkets, uniform shops or online. Price ranges vary dependent on quality and quantity. Any leggings worn must also be black.

Jewellery is not permitted in school. If your child has an ear piercing, then they are able to wear one pair of small studs.
Hoops or other types of earrings are not permissible. If your child is wearing studs, these will need to be covered during any physical activity.
Extreme hairstyles, shaving patterns and colouring are not part of our uniform policy.
Uniform Exchange was set up as a community project in 2011 to make sure every child in Kirklees could have a free school uniform if they needed it. That need has never been greater than it is now.
The cost-of-living crisis means many families are struggling just to eat and keep warm so new school uniform is simply unaffordable yet countless tonnes of it is still being thrown into landfill in Kirklees every year. We need to all make a positive impact on the environment so please do your bit by simply giving your old school uniform to us.
Please click on the Uniform Exchange logo below for more information, on how to donate and how to benefit from their amazing work. Uniform can be donated at the main school office!
