Welcome to Willow's Class Page
Year 4 consists of 3 classes: 4AN (Miss Nasir's Class), 4SD (Mrs Hussain's Class) and 4KM (Mr Mellor's Class). On our class page you will find information about our fabulous learning taking place in the term ahead as well as weekly updates. There are links to websites and platforms to support your children with their learning at home. If you have any questions or queries, do not hesitate to contact one of the Year 4 team.

This Week's Learning
Summer
Week beginning: 13th July
This week we will be consolidating our learning from this term.
Your children will be bringing home their used books so please make sure they have a spare carrier bag to carry them home.
Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. Enjoy the summer break. We can’t wait to see you in September.
Famous For A Fortnight
This is a very prestigious award presented every 2 weeks to a child in each class who has impressed their teachers with their academic work, effort, engagement or demonstrated one or more of our core values. We are all really proud of your achievements.
Week Beginning: 29th June 2026
- 4KM : Jenson
- 4AN : Jessica
- 4SD : Lucy
Homework expectations
Children are expected to read daily and return their reading log to school each day.
It is expected that children log on to TT Rockstars for a minimum of 20 minutes per week. Now that we are approaching Year 5 please help your child with the associated divisions as well.
Times Tables
All children in Year 4 must learn their multiplication tables. In July there is a National Multiplication Tables Check. All children in Year 4 are encouraged to learn all of their multiplication facts up to 12 x 12.
To enable this, we will be working our way up the times table ladder each week. You will receive a weekly PING to tell you of your child’s achievements and what to learn at home next. Times table books must be returned to school for our weekly test each week.
TTROCKSTARS: this is a brilliant program to encourage times tables practise. It is recommended to complete 21 minutes of GARAGE each week and complete 6 SOUNDCHECKS to develop multiplication fluency in the Summer Term.
All children have a login and are encouraged to use it as often as they can.
